Dr. Lu’s Healing Cuisine is a weekly take-out service based on the ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine practice of cooking with natural foods and Chinese herbs specifically designed to assist the body in healing itself and preventing disease.
The healing properties, freshness, and exquisite taste of the ingredients in each dish are carefully combined to create yin yang balance, proper energy flow, and healing in the body’s specific systems.
Thursday Night Take Out
Every Thursday, Dr. Lu and his chefs prepare a different meal offered for take-out in Ann Arbor, MI, using locally-sourced fresh ingredients that are in harmony with nature’s seasons. Each delicious meal is designed with specific healing ingredients to promote overall health and well-being.
This Week’s Menu

The focus of this meal is to provide an antioxidant boost, prevent diabetes, lower cholesterol level.
Chinese Cabbage Ginger Soup
Chinese cabbage and tofu in a ginger herbal broth
Pineapple Chicken
thinly sliced chicken and pineapple in an herbal sauce
Stir-Fried Dark Greens
kale, carrots, ginger in fermented black bean sauce
Stir-Fried Celery with Cashew Nuts
celery, cashew nuts, and goji berry
White or brown rice is always included in each week’s offering.
Healing Ingredients
The herbal formula for this week’s dishes includes chrysanthemum,
longevity herbal powder, Yuzhu, and shanyao.
Dr. Yun Lu has an M.D. in Traditional Chinese Medicine and comes from a family lineage of healers.
